Since 6th grade studies Ancient Civilizations and the music of that time is not recorded or written down, the focus of the concert for 6th grade will be on more modern styles of music with keeping a link to the past. Students will learn about the major styles of music and how all styles relate to one another and trace roots backwards. They will also make connections to how music played a role in Ancient Civilizations.
The Concert date will be Friday, June 1st from 1:30 p.m. until 2:05 p.m. in the gym. If you cannot come to see the concert, it will be video taped and access to the files will be granted through this webpage.
